Sovereign Legal Group currently provides counsel to owners of leading businesses in the Aerospace, Construction Services, Financial Services, Healthcare, IT Services, Light Manufacturing, Software, and Waste Management industries. Managing attorney David Cook has extensive experience counselling publicly-traded and privately-held companies. He previously served as Associate General Counsel to Digital Insight, the financial institutions division of Intuit, and as General Counsel to Exvere Inc., an investment banking firm. Over his career David has advised clients on more than fifty merger, acquisition and strategic alliance transactions valued in excess of $1 billion, and 300 complex licensing and procurement contracts valued in excess of $1.5 billion.

Personal and Community Activities
David is the founder and president of Legs For Lauren, a non-profit benefitting pediatric cancer care through endurance athletic events. David is an avid runner, cyclist and participant in endurance sports, including marathons, half marathons, and 70.3 and Ironman triathlons. In 2010 he competed in the Boston Marathon and will race in ChelanMan and Ironman 70.3 Lake Stevens. David also donates pro bono legal services to Volunteer Advocates for Immigrant Justice.
